The first look at Marvin Jones III‘s Tombstone from Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been revealed on Peter Parker’s Villains Tracker Board.
The tracker board provides the first clear look at Marvin Jones III in character as the crime boss Tombstone. The main headline next to him reads: “TOMBSTONE RUNNING CITY INTO THE GROUND.”

Peter Parker’s Villains Tracker Board features a corkboard with a map of New York City, red string connections, and newspaper clippings about Tombstone, Tarantula, Boomerang, and Scorpion.

Top banner: “WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY”.
Central map: A detailed map of New York City (focused on Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn) covered in red string connections. The strings link crime scenes, villain sightings, and hideouts, forming a conspiracy web.
Featured villains (with photos, fingerprints, and headlines):
- Tombstone: A Wilson Fisk-like powerful crime boss. Clippings read, “TOMBSTONE RUNNING CITY INTO THE GROUND,” and show him in a suit.
- Tarantula: A masked villain with headlines like, “Tarantula Weaves Together a String of Robberies.”
- Boomerang: Headlines include, “BOOMERANG IS BACK!” and “Boomerang Comes Back Around to Wreak Havoc on NYC.”
- Scorpion: “TAIL OF DESTRUCTION: SCORPION LAYS WASTE TO QUEENS,” with an image of him in the suit.
Newspaper clippings: Daily Bugle-style headlines, including “Web-Slinger Unravels Crime Ring in Queens” and “NYC ON EDGE: CAN SPIDER-MAN GET A GRIP ON THE HAND?”
Recently, insider @Cryptic4KQual revealed that Marvin Jones III’s Tombstone will reportedly have a small role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Tombstone is also reportedly expected to serve as an overarching figure throughout the upcoming Spider-Man trilogy.
Here’s the new synopsis for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
