James Gunn, the director of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3‘, has revealed that the actors who provided the voices for Rocket Racoon, Lylla, Teefs, and Floor also performed the motion capture for their respective characters, sharing behind-the-scenes photos.
On Instagram, Gunn shared the images and wrote, “Motion capturing and recording the “naming” scene in #GotGVol3 with Floor, Teefs, Lylla, and Rocket. Although fully CGI, we shot all of the scenes for real, using the actors’ expressions, recordings, and all of the actual camera moves to make it feel natural. Also, shout out to @johnmurphycomposer (John Murphy) for the score of this scene, which really pulled it all together and made it magic.” See the images below.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has crossed $528 million at the worldwide box office. It is not that surprising because the film deserves a $1 billion mark. The film is directed by James Gunn and features an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Will Poulter, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Linda Cardellini, Nathan Fillion, and Sylvester Stallone.
