Marvel Studios’ X-Men ’97 Release Date And New Voice Cast Revealed

The release date and voice cast for Marvel Studios’ X-Men ’97 have been revealed. The series is a revival/sequel of the 1992 animated series X-Men: The Animated Series and the plot follows Storm and Wolverine as they try to continue the X-Men. Magneto comes in and wants to step up for Charles Xavier. Sinister comes in to try to end the X-Men once and for all.

X-Men ’97, created by Beau DeMayo, will premiere on January 3, 2024, on Disney+. The series is directed by Jake Castorena and Chase Conley. The Newton Brothers will compose the score for the series.

The original ’90s X-Men animated series, titled “X-Men,” aired from 1992 to 1997 and is considered a classic by many fans. It was praised for its faithful adaptation of the X-Men comics, engaging storylines, and memorable theme song. The series introduced a generation to iconic characters such as Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Rogue, and many others.

It is also reported that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver will return to the series.
