The filming of Alex Garland‘s Elden Ring is now taking place in London, where the film is being shot for IMAX. Following the start of production, the first-look set images have leaked online featuring cast members.
On X, user @UnBoxPHD shared images from the filming location of Elden Ring, featuring a first look at Emma Laird as Queen Marika, Dung Eater, and Kit Connor. See them below.


Written and directed by Alex Garland, the film is based on the hit 2022 video game Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware.


The film is set in a place known as the Lands Between, where the powerful Elden Ring has been shattered, with its shards divided among corrupted demigods. An exile from the Lands Between is tasked with traversing the realm to repair the Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord.

According to THR, Elden Ring will be A24’s largest and most ambitious project ever. The film’s budget is reportedly well over $100 million and will require around 100 days of filming.
Elden Ring was created under the direction of Hidetaka Miyazaki, with mythology written by George R. R. Martin, and launched in 2022. It lets players explore vast lands and dangerous dungeons while overcoming powerful challenges. The game has sold over 30 million copies worldwide.
Elden Ring is scheduled to be released in theaters and IMAX in the United States by A24 on March 3, 2028.
