Warning: This article contains spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3.
Vincent D’Onofrio is confirmed to return in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, and newly leaked set images suggest Kingpin (Wilson Fisk) may have stepped down as Mayor of New York City—before fans even know what happens in the Season 2 finale.
The first look at Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk has been spotted on the set of Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 during filming in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York City.

In the images, D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk appears completely transformed with a new look, featuring a white beard that gives him a Santa Claus-like appearance while standing on a New York City street. Behind him are posters of Sheila Rivera (Zabryna Guevara), who is running for Mayor of New York City.

This hints that in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Sheila Rivera is already the mayor, and Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 must be set before the events of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Most recently, leaked set images reveal that Defenders characters Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), and Finn Jones (Iron Fist) are returning in Season 3.
An Instagram post that was quickly removed showed Mike Colter reuniting with Charlie Cox, who was wearing a prison uniform. This may reveal that Matt Murdock lands in prison by the end of Season 2, while Fisk remains free.
Here’s the cast of Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 so far:
