Ana de Armas was spotted on the set of “Ballerina,” the John Wick spin-off, with co-star Norman Reedus in Prague, Czech Republic. The film follows Rooney, a young female assassin who seeks revenge against the people who killed her family. Check out the image below.
Ballerina is directed by Len Wiseman from a screenplay by Shay Hatten and Emerald Fennell, based on a story by Hatten.
In the film, Keanu Reeves will reprise his role as John Wick, alongside Norman Reedus, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, Gabriel Byrne, and Lance Reddick in one of his final on-screen appearances. De Armas also revealed there will be a fight scene between her character and John Wick in the spinoff film.
According to Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Joe Drake, “Ballerina” will release in the spring or summer of 2024. On March 2023, Drake spoke to the deadline, saying, “We’re not ready to say goodbye to Keanu with this franchise. It’s what alternative there will be.”
