From the World of John Wick: Ballerina had its world premiere in Berlin, and following the premiere, reviews have started to come in. The film is a worthy addition to the John Wick franchise. The makers haven’t tried to turn Ana de Armas‘ character, Eve, into a female version of John Wick. She stands on her own and handles business her own way.
According to social media reactions on X, The HoloFiles – Movies & TV News & Reviews says: “Ballerina is a worthy addition to the John Wick franchise. From innovative action to club scenes to the Continental, it checks every box of a John Wick film. de Armas is fantastic, wielding a flamethrower and fighting an entire town, while Keanu Reeves plays a surprisingly big role.”

According to Nadia on X: “Ballerina is a bloody fun time! de Armas kicks ass in a battle of fire and ice. The story gets off to a bumpy start and wastes some key characters along the way, but builds to a satisfying second half with insane choreography. A worthy addition to the world of John Wick.”
According to Tony Mosello on X: “Ballerina is thrilling and action-packed. de Armas is fantastic as the Ruska Roma assassin, with just the right amount of John Wick energy. There are multiple memorable sequences and plenty of great hand-to-hand combat. It’s a pleasant surprise and a fun return to the world of John Wick.”
Directed by Len Wiseman and written by Shay Hatten, the film also stars Anjelica Huston as ‘The Director,’ Gabriel Byrne as the main antagonist, Lance Reddick as Charon, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane reprising his role as Winston Scott, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, and David Castañeda.
