The VOD release date for From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas, has been revealed.
The film will be available to buy or rent on digital platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV starting July 1, 2025.
According to our review, Ballerina is a worthy spin-off to the John Wick franchise. Ana de Armas’ character, Eve, is a female version of John Wick, and every action she takes in the film is incredible. Keanu Reeves also has a surprisingly big role in the movie.
Ballerina has scored 77% on Rotten Tomatoes, 7.3/10 on IMDb, and received an A– on CinemaScore.
Synopsis: “Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Ballerina follows Eve Macarro (de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.”
Directed by Len Wiseman from a screenplay by Shay Hatten, the film also stars Anjelica Huston as ‘The Director,’ Gabriel Byrne as the main antagonist, Lance Reddick as Charon, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane reprising his role as Winston Scott, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, and David Castañeda.
Based on characters by Derek Kolstad, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina is produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski, with production companies Summit Entertainment, Thunder Road Films, and 87North Productions.
