The rumors of Daisy Edgar-Jones starring in Disney’s new live-action Prince Charming have been confirmed. She has signed a deal with Disney to play opposite Chris Hemsworth.
According to Daniel Richtman, in a new Patreon post, Edgar-Jones has reportedly been cast in the Prince Charming film. She is said to play an animator whose drawing of Prince Charming (Hemsworth) comes to life.
Directed by King—who co-wrote the screenplay with Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker. Filming is scheduled to begin in 2025.

Edgar-Jones recently starred in Twisters alongside Glen Powell, which grossed $371 million worldwide. Additionally, her new film On Swift Horses, directed by Daniel Minahan, had its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.
Hemsworth recently voiced Optimus Prime in Transformers: One, directed by Josh Cooley, which grossed $113.8 million worldwide. He was also seen in George Miller’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga as Dementus, alongside Anya Taylor-Joy. The film made $173 million against its budget of $168 million. Hemsworth is set to star in Amazon MGM Studios’ thriller Crime 101, which is currently in production.
The Prince Charming film will hit theaters in 2026, by Walt Disney Pictures.
