Marvel’s ‘X-Men ’97’ Season 3 Teaser Description Reveals Deadpool and She-Hulk Appearances

Warning: This post contains spoilers for X-Men ’97 Season 3.

Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97 has been renewed for Season 3 on Disney+, and the first-look trailer was screened at New York Comic Con.

Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel Television, Animation, Comics, and Franchise, presented the trailer, which teased appearances by Deadpool and She-Hulk in Season 3. The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, led by Mystique, also appears. Storm and Professor X head to Gambit and Rogue’s wedding, while Creed is now the president.

The X-Men ’97 Season 3 trailer reveals the following:

The clip opens with someone writing “Where are the X-Men?” in graffiti. The city has descended into chaos, with police blocking off the area and closing the borders. Mutants cannot reach Professor X’s school and have nowhere to stay unless they have letters of transit.

A young mutant tries to sneak across the border but is caught and deemed a threat. Just as she is about to be captured, a group of mutants arrives to rescue her. The girl asks, “Are you the X-Men?” They reply, “No, we’re the Brotherhood.”

The clip also features Storm and Professor X driving together as they discuss the conflict with the U.S. president. They later arrive at Gambit and Rogue’s wedding, where Deadpool and She-Hulk are among the guests.

Marvel Studios has more plans for X-Men ’97 beyond Season 3. The next season is set to arrive in 2027, and development on Season 4 is already progressing.

At the New York Comic Con panel, Winderbaum shared an update on the third season and hinted at an especially emotional episode. “We’re hard at work on the third season, and it’s incredible,” he said. “I mean, I’m actually getting choked up thinking about one of the episodes right now.”

Marvel Animation has revealed three more two-part Marvel Zombies specials, with The Winter Soldier arriving in Halloween 2027, The Fist of Khonshu following in Halloween 2028, and The Last Guardian scheduled for Halloween 2029.

Showrunner Jeff Trammell also announced that Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on January 13, 2027. He shared the new season’s poster and screened an exclusive preview for attendees.
