DC Studios has begun adding more cast members to the upcoming Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, starring Milly Alcock, which is now in production in the United Kingdom.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham have joined the cast as Supergirl’s parents, Zor-El (her father) and Alura In-Ze (her mother), in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. On Earth, Kara Zor-El (Alcock) does not have adoptive parents like Superman’s Jonathan and Martha Kent.
Filming began on January 15, 2025, with the first shot taken at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the United Kingdom. Directed by Craig Gillespie, from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira and based on the comic by Tom King and Bilquis Evely, the film will serve as the second entry in the DC Universe and the fourth installment of Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.
In the film, Alcock star as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye, Jason Momoa as Lobo.
