Deadpool 3 Starts Filming in London as Hugh Jackman Debuts Classic Wolverine Look
On May 22, Deadpool 3 officially began filming at Pinewood Studios in London. Hugh Jackman has arrived in London, where he was sporting his classic Wolverine beard for the film. See the images below.
Speaking to Variety, Jackman said he called Ryan Reynolds in late August to say he wanted to return as Wolverine for ‘Deadpool 3’. “I think it was a big shock to him. There was a massive pause, and then he said, ‘I can’t believe the timing of this.’”
Shawn Levy is directing the film. Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Rob Delaney as Peter, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and new additions Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen. The script is penned by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy.
In the upcoming film, Deadpool will travel to the future to save Wolverine from dying. Logan does not know who that guy is and wants him gone, but using a time machine and changing history gets them on the TVA’s radar. The TVA (Time Variance Authority) serves as a bureaucratic agency responsible for monitoring and maintaining the timeline of the Multiverse.
Deadpool 3 hits theaters on November 8, 2024.
