Who is Nitara in the Mortal Kombat Fighting Game Series?
In the Mortal Kombat fighting game series, Nitara is a vampire-like Shang Tsung who must feed on others’ blood to survive, but she isn’t inherently evil. She’s self-serving and morally neutral, with a gothic look, on a mission to separate her realm from the Outworld. She made her debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.
Mortal Kombat 1, the 12th fighting game and 23rd installment in the series, is developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. It’s coming to Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on September 19, 2023. This game serves as a follow-up to Mortal Kombat 11 and is considered a soft reboot of the franchise, the second overall reboot after Mortal Kombat (2011).
