Prime Video has revealed the first look poster and release date for ‘Fallout,’ a post-apocalyptic drama series adapted from the renowned video game franchise created by Interplay Entertainment and now owned by Bethesda Softworks.
The poster shows the character Lucy, played by Ella Purnell, as her character is described as “an optimistic Vault Dweller with an all-American can-do spirit. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is tested when people harm her loved ones.” Check out the poster below.
What is the Plot of ‘Fallout’?
According to Prime Video, the ‘Fallout’ synopsis follows “the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.”
Developed by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, through their Kilter Films production company, for Amazon Prime Video. The show stars Walton Goggins as The Ghoul and Cooper Howard alongside Purnell as Lucy, Kyle MacLachlan as Hank, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Mike Doyle as Mr. Spencer, Moisés Arias as Norm, Johnny Pemberton as Thaddeus, Cherien Dabis as Birdie, Dale Dickey as Ma June, Matty Cardarople as Huey, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson as Wilzig, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register as Chet, Zach Cherry, Rodrigo Luzzi as Reg, and Annabel O’Hagan as Steph.
Executive producers for the series include Nolan and Lisa Joy, along with Athena Wickham from Kilter Films, Todd Howard representing Bethesda Game Studios, and James Altman from Bethesda Softworks.
