Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel Studios is reportedly adding a big final battle with more action scenes in the upcoming reshoots for Avengers: Doomsday.
According to insider James Mack, the final battle of Avengers: Doomsday will reportedly take place in The Void. The sequence will feature a massive battle between heroes, villains, and alternate variants. It will also introduce new characters who have never appeared in the MCU.

We already reported that the Void will have a big part in Avengers: Doomsday. In the end of Doomsday, Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom will reportedly transform the Void into Battleworld, binding its destructive forces like Alioth to erase unwanted timelines and keep only the ones he chooses.
In the additional photography for Doomsday, the actors who weren’t able to film last year will be appearing. Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine are part of it, and filming is set to begin in April 2026.
Recently, scooper MyTimeToShineH has shared important plot details that say, “Sometime after Avengers: Endgame and before the end of Loki Season 2, Loki goes to see Steve Rogers, who is living with Peggy and has a son. Loki tells Steve that the TVA is going to prune this timeline because Steve is not supposed to be there and is not supposed to have a child. Loki offers Steve a way out: he will move Steve and his family to a universe where they never existed, allowing them to live peacefully. That universe turns out to be the Fantastic Four’s universe.”
“They live there for years, until the events of Avengers: Doomsday, when Doom arrives to warn the Fantastic Four about the Incursions and tells them they must travel to the MCU to stop them. Reed and Doom come up with a plan, track down Steve, explain everything to him, and ask for his help. Steve agrees to return to the MCU with them so he can convince the heroes there to help.”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
Here’s the plot synopsis for Avengers: Doomsday:
