Marvel Studios has already announced that the X-Men are officially returning in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.
A recently leaked image shows the first look at James Marsden and Ian McKellen as Cyclops and Magneto on the set of Avengers: Doomsday, which is currently in production in the United Kingdom.

Also, another surprise for fans was that Marsden and Benedict Wong were also spotted together on set. Is Wong trying to recruit Cyclops into the Avengers to fight Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.)? Check out the image below.

According to a source on X, UnBoxPHD has revealed that a spaceship set for Avengers: Doomsday is now under construction. The leaker has shared several images from the set.
At CinemaCon 2025, Marvel boss Kevin Feige said in a video message that the full cast for Avengers: Doomsday has not yet been revealed. He also confirmed the film will focus on the Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts, and the original X-Men all fighting Doctor Doom.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film is joined by longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely, who is penning the screenplay.
