The first-look images of Tom Holland and Zendaya were spotted on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in London.
The images show Holland and Zendaya visiting Aunt May’s grave. Although Zendaya is not part of the scene, she’s just visiting in between. See the images below.

In the image below, you can see Holland sharing a selfie from the set, showing Peter Parker’s injured face with signs of a recent battle.

Filming began on August 3 in Glasgow, Scotland, with Holland’s Spider-Man spotted on set. The first scenes being filmed featured a major action sequence, including a tank chase and a car chase. A lot of web-swinging was also filmed throughout the streets.
A new rumor from Alex (via The Cosmic Circus) reports that Viper and Silver Samurai could be the main villains in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the film stars Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon also reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast in an undisclosed role, alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas has also been cast in an undisclosed role, and Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Recently, Melanie Scrofano (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) revealed in an Instagram post that she has been cast in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Here’s the plot synopsis for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the world has forgotten his name, Peter Parker (Holland) begins a new chapter in his life — balancing college classes, part-time work, and his responsibility as New York’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. But when a mysterious force begins to unravel the city from the inside out, Peter finds himself caught between powerful enemies, old legacies, and unexpected allies. As shadows from the past creep into his present, he must redefine what it truly means to be a hero — on his own.
Produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
