Harrison Ford, the legendary actor, joined the MCU in his 80s. He stepped into the role of Thaddeus Ross after the passing of William Hurt, who previously portrayed the character. In the new episode of The Official Marvel Podcast, Ford revealed why he joined the MCU. He said he was inspired by the brilliant actors who starred in Marvel movies and had a wonderful time, so he wanted to have a good time in the MCU as well.
Ford said, “I had watched other actors, brilliant actors, have a wonderful time. I am not a brilliant actor, but I thought I might have a good time.”
