Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for ‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ starring Anthony Mackie as the new, upgraded Captain America. You can watch the trailer below.
The trailer confirmed ‘Brave New World’ will be a “political genre,” with Harrison Ford‘s Thaddeus Ross as the President. The film’s budget is close to $300M, and it showcases many engaging moments. At the end, we can see Ford’s Red Hulk.

“After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.”
Julius Onah directs from a screenplay by Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, and Matthew Orton. The film stars Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez as Joaquín Torres/Falcon, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra, Giancarlo Esposito as George Washington “G.W.” Bridge, Rosa Salazar, and Xosha Roquemore. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Mackie describes ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ as ‘a clear reset’. Mackie said, “This movie is a clear reset. It really reestablishes the idea of what this universe is and what this universe is going to be.” Mackie added, “I think with these movies, you’re getting a clear, new branding of what Marvel is headed towards the same way they did with Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
Matthew Schmidt will serve as an editor on ‘Brave New World.’ The Russo Brothers will serve as producers on the film alongside Kevin Feige, Nate Moore, and Malcolm Spellman.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is coming to theaters on February 14, 2025.
