Pop star Harry Styles was hit in the eye by an object thrown on stage in Vienna, Austria, on July 8, 2023. The incident was captured in a video shared by Pop Crave on Twitter. Wach the clip below.
In the footage, Harry Styles was walking across the stage when an object swiftly struck his left eye. He immediately flinched and instinctively covered his face with his hand.
Bebe Rexha and Kelsea Ballerini also face incidents of objects being thrown during performances
Most recently, Adele speaks out about artists facing the problem of objects being thrown at them while on stage. She said “I fuc**** dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll fucking kill you.” In June 2023, pop star Bebe Rexha was hospitalized in New York City after being struck in the head by a fan’s phone during her Sunday night concert. Similarly, Kelsea Ballerini was hit in the face during her performance in Idaho when an object was thrown at her by one of the audience in the same month.
It is essential to show respect to all artists, and it is unacceptable for fans to throw objects during their performances. All fans should be able to enjoy the concert or event while their favorite pop star is performing. So, stop throwing objects.
