HBO Max has revealed the Season 4 premiere date for “Succession,” as well as a short trailer. Season 4 will premiere on March 26, 2023. Watch the trailer below.
In the trailer, When Waystar Royco is sold to tech magnate Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård), the Roy kids conspire against Logan (Brian Cox), causing family discord and a power struggle. “It’s a tightrope walk on a razor’s edge.” “500-foot reputational plunge,” Kendall (Jeremy Strong) warns. The newcomers Annabeth Gish, Adam Godley, Eili Harboe, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson are also spotted in the trailer.
Jesse Armstrong created the show for HBO. The show centers around the Roy family, the owners of Waystar RoyCo, a global media and entertainment conglomerate, who are battling for the company’s control because of concerns about the health of the family patriarch, Logan Roy (Brian Cox).
When asked specifically how Logan blowing up the company changed the very nature of the program, Armstrong said in an interview with Variety: “It changes it.” I’d be bullshitting you if I told you I knew exactly what was going to happen. We’ll follow the truth and the business of that. “I think succession in one form or another is very much still on the table.”
