The filming for HBO’s ‘The White Lotus‘ Season 3 has begun in Thailand.
The show’s official Instagram account announced with a clapperboard, “Unforgettable experiences are in the making at The White Lotus. We are eager to welcome new guests to our resort in Thailand.”
Created by Mike White, who also serves as executive producer and director, ‘The White Lotus’ has David Bernad and Mark Kamine as additional executive producers. HBO has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support the filming and promotion of the third installment.
What is ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 About?
Plot details for season 3 have not yet been revealed, as it follows a new group of guests at a White Lotus resort property. The cast includes Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Tayme Thapthimthong, Christian Friedel, Julian Kostov, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Natasha Rothwell, Walton Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, and BLACKPINK’s Lisa.
In a statement, White said, “It’s going to be a supersized White Lotus.” White added, “It’s going to be longer, bigger, and crazier. I don’t know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that’s a good thing.”
HBO announced ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 in November 2022. Season 1 won 10 Emmy awards, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. Jennifer Coolidge won a Golden Globe for Season 2, which was named Best Limited Series. The show received two SAG awards, one for Best TV Drama Ensemble and another for Jennifer Coolidge’s performance.
