'House of the Dragon' Season 2 Episode 1 Title Revealed A Son for a Son

The title for ‘House of the Dragon‘ Season 2, Episode 1 has been revealed. Inside sources say the episode, directed by Alan Taylor, will be called “A Son for a Son.” In the second half of the episode, a cloaked Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) will sneak into King’s Landing at night to plan “Blood & Cheese.”

In the book “Fire & Blood,” Daemon sends a letter from Harrenhal that reads, “An eye for an eye, a son for a son.”

Acclaimed director Geeta V. Patel is set to direct two episodes of ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2. Notably, she directed the highest-rated episode of Season 1, titled “The Lord of the Tides.”

‘House of the Dragon’ is serving as a prequel to “Game of Thrones.” Set about 100 years after the Targaryen Conquest, it follows the events leading to the “Dance of the Dragons” war. The first season premiered in August 2022, and the series has been renewed for a second season by HBO, with Ryan Condal as the showrunner. The series was created by George R. R. Martin and Condal for HBO.
