The filming for John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place 3, starring Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy, has officially begun in New York City.
On X, Krasinski shared the news as production began. He posted an image of the clapperboard and wrote, “Here. We. Go! Part III.” See the post below.

In A Quiet Place Part III, Murphy will return as Emmett, Blunt as Evelyn Abbott, Millicent Simmonds as Regan Abbott, and Noah Jupe as Marcus Abbott. The roles of new cast additions Jack O’Connell, Katy O’Brian, and Jason Clarke have not yet been revealed.

At the end of A Quiet Place: Part II, the Abbott family finally gave humanity hope after Regan used her cochlear implant to broadcast a signal capable of weakening the aliens. However, their fight for survival is far from over. John Krasinski has confirmed that A Quiet Place Part III will conclude his planned trilogy.
The most recent film in the series was the 2024 prequel A Quiet Place: Day One, starring Lupita Nyong’o and set during the early days of the invasion in New York City. The franchise has already earned about $900 million worldwide from just three installments.
A Quiet Place Part III is written and directed by John Krasinski, with plot details currently being kept under wraps.
The film is produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, and Krasinski, and is set to release in theaters on July 30, 2027.
