Marvel Studios is set to begin production on the live-action ‘X-Men‘ movie in Q4 2025, as reported by Production Weekly. However, it’s important to note that this date is an established estimate and has not been officially confirmed.
What is the Plot of the Upcoming Live-Action ‘X-Men’ Movie?
Recently, Production Weekly revealed a short synopsis for the upcoming live-action ‘X-Men’ film.
The plot is as follows: “Charles Xavier’s team of merry mutants is charged with the mission of protecting a world that hates and fears them for their unusual appearances and abilities.”
It has been revealed that ‘Shang-Chi 2‘ will commence production in March 2025, ‘Armor Wars‘ is scheduled for 2025, and ‘Vision Quest‘ will begin production in late 2025.
As of now, the film does not have any directors or writers attached. Marvel plans to announce the casting for the film in 2025.
In ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ X-Men characters will be making appearances. The film’s plot is based on the X-Men crossover from 20th Century Fox’s universe into the MCU.
Recently, Rob Liefeld, the creator of Deadpool, said that the X-Men would appear in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ He mentioned being blown away by the cast list and teased an epic crossover between Deadpool and characters like Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, and Beast. We already revealed that ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is set to bring back some important characters from the previous ‘X-Men’ films. The film hits theaters on July 26, 2024.
