Exclusive: Marvel’s ‘Deadpool 3‘ is bringing back some of the major X-Men characters from the previous ‘X-Men’ films.
‘Deadpool 3’ to Reunite Iconic ‘X-Men’ Characters?
According to recent reports, the upcoming movie ‘Deadpool 3’ is expected to bring back some important characters from the previous ‘X-Men’ films. Along with Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine, there are rumors that Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, and James Marsden might also reprise their roles as Storm, Jean Gray, and Cyclops in the film.
Halle Berry last appeared as Storm in the X-Men movie series “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” which was released in 2014. Famke Janssen last portrayed Jean Grey in “X-Men: The Last Stand,” which came out in 2006. Janssen also had a cameo as Jean Grey in “The Wolverine” in 2013. James Marsden’s last appearance as Cyclops was also in “X-Men: The Last Stand.”
Filming Update: ‘Deadpool 3’ Filming In London at Pinewood Studios
Deadpool 3 filming is happening at Pinewood Studios in London. Most recently, Jackman arrived in London, where he was sporting his classic Wolverine beard for the film.
The film is directed by Shawn Levy. In the film, Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Rob Delaney as Peter, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and new additions Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen. The script is penned by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy.
In the upcoming film, Deadpool will travel to the future to save Wolverine from dying. Logan does not know who that guy is and wants him gone, but using a time machine and changing history gets them on the TVA’s radar. The TVA (Time Variance Authority) serves as a bureaucratic agency responsible for monitoring and maintaining the timeline of the Multiverse.
