The costume test leaks of Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday are now being confirmed as real, as Marvel Studios is taking down all of the images.
Last December, the Avengers: Doomsday promotional materials were leaked, including Doctor Doom, Thor, Gambit, Sentry, Magneto, Winter Soldier, and the Fantastic Four. Now, Marvel Studios is issuing DMCA takedowns against the leaked promotional photos.
It is reported that the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday will be released in May 2026. Recently, the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday was shown at CinemaCon. It featured Thor fighting Doctor Doom and reuniting with Steve Rogers, Professor X witnessing an incursion, Mystique transforming into Yelena, and a fight sequence between Shang-Chi and Gambit.
According to Joe Russo, the upcoming re-release of Avengers: Endgame includes new footage set within the Doomsday story.
“It’s an opportunity to create a bridge from Endgame to Doomsday in a very unique way, and because the movie was so successful, we have an opportunity to re-release it,” he continued, calling it a “critical companion story” and a “setup for what you’re going to watch in December when you see Avengers: Doomsday.”

“Beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.”
Directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo and written by Stephen McFeely, Avengers: Doomsday stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, Tom Hiddleston, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Danny Ramirez, Winston Duke, Alan Cumming, Wesley Holloway, Hannah John-Kamen, Rebecca Romijn, Alex Livinalli, and Mabel Cadena, with Tenoch Huerta Mejía.
The film is produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Jonathan Schwartz, with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer.
Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters across the United States on December 18, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for release on December 17, 2027.
