So, we are getting three classic villains in the new Spider-Man movie. In Marvel Comics, Scorpion — also known as Mac Gargan — is a former private investigator who gains superhuman abilities and a deadly mechanical tail. Boomerang — once a professional baseball player named Fred Myers — uses a variety of trick boomerangs as weapons. Tombstone — whose real name is Lonnie Lincoln — is a powerful and intimidating mob enforcer with superhuman strength and pale, stone-like skin.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, with a production budget of $200 million.

The film stars Holland returning as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ Watson, and Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas in undisclosed roles. Additionally, Marvel Studios is casting for three new roles in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Two of these roles are for villains — one male and one female.
An insider report recently revealed that Sarah Snook is being considered for the role of a secondary villain in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, while Sink is set to play Mayday Parker—who is connected to Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man universe as the daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane “MJ” Watson.
