According to ‘The MCU: An Official Timeline,’ a recent revelation has brought to light that Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, met her end on Earth-616 as she played a part in the destruction of Wundagore, an event occurring in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘.

Yes, as per the insider, a Scarlet Witch solo project is currently in development at Marvel Studios, although there have been no official announcements made regarding it.
Olsen doesn’t know when she’ll return as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in the MCU, but she hopes her character can bring humor and find redemption. In ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ Scarlet Witch was the villain and met a dramatic end. Olsen sees potential for more fun and humor in her character’s future and hopes for a chance at redemption.
In an interview with ScreenRant, Olsen said, “We can do anything with her now!” Olsen added, “I feel like we’ve done so much. Now, we can really have fun; I feel like there’s a lot more humor to be had with her. She’s often the emotion of a story, and I’m curious to see what we can explore. And hopefully [we can] give her some redemption.”
She told Variety, “At first, I think I was nervous and conflicted because I hadn’t finished ‘WandaVision’ yet, but we were almost finished.” Olsen added, “And I was like, ‘Oh my god, how do I make this all work together?’ We got there; I got there. And it became an amazing opportunity to have people be won over by this woman in ‘WandaVision’ and feel for her, and then, you know, manipulate them into this film, where they get to be on her side and then feel conflicted themselves.”
The ‘Vision Quest’ series is developed by WandaVision creator, writer, and executive producer Jac Schaeffer. it will be also a spin-off to ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries‘ starring Kathryn Hahn.
The series is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in 2024.
