A new promotional artwork for Avengers: Doomsday featuring Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, and Anthony Mackie as Captain America has been revealed. It is displayed at a retail shop. See the image below.
Along with the promotional artwork, the Avengers: Doomsday x Cheetos collaboration has now been revealed. The flavors include Doctor Doom as salted toffee, Mystique as cheese with ketchup, and Ant-Man as ketchup.
Also, below you can see the first look at the Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) x Hot Cheetos collaboration for Avengers: Doomsday. The chips are pizza-flavored.
In a recent interview with Empire Magazine, Anthony Russo said Robert Downey Jr. used partial motion capture, body movements, and subtle eye movements to convey emotion and intensity for his Doctor Doom character in the movie.
Anthony said, “I think Downey had a lot of the same fun on this with Doom.” He added, “He was on set performing everything. Because of the way we’re creating the character with a digital layer, we also get a second pass at him in terms of what we can do on a digital level. There was a lot of experimental performance. It’s incredible, but also unexpected. What he brings to the table, you couldn’t see coming.”
At Fan Expo Boston, Chris Evans explained why he decided to return as Steve Rogers in Avengers: Doomsday. Evans said he feels “very at home” with the character and has a strong personal connection to Steve Rogers.
Evans said, “I feel very at home with the role. I feel very not just comfortable, but precious. I care about the arc of all these characters, and we wouldn’t be doing it unless there was going to be a really interesting situation to put him in.”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
