Hot Toys has revealed the 1/6th-scale Cyclops collectible figure from Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday, which is now available for pre-order.
From the toy listing, the official synopsis of James Marsden‘s Cyclops has been revealed. It confirms that Cyclops will officially be the leader of the X-Men.
Here’s the description:
“The tactical leader of the X-Men has crossed the multiverse! Making his monumental Marvel Cinematic Universe return in Avengers: Doomsday, Scott Summers—the legendary Cyclops—steps onto the ultimate battlefield to stand against Doctor Doom. Reprised by James Marsden in his iconic uniform, he is ready to unleash his devastating ruby-quartz optic blasts!”

Cyclops’ iconic uniform is perfectly recreated, featuring a tailored tactical top with matching cargo pants, a weathered yellow asymmetrical chest harness accented by a striking circular X-logo emblem, a utility belt, a pair of weathered thigh straps, and a pair of combat boots engineered to give the X-Men leader a commanding stance on any display shelf. To complete the display, the figure comes with a specially designed figure stand featuring the movie logo.
Speaking to Empire Magazine, Marsden describes the movie as “an absolute collision of three gigantic universes.” The three universes will come together in the face of a serious existential threat.
He said, “It’s an absolute collision of three gigantic universes, coming together in the face of a very serious existential threat. You’re seeing time on screen. You’re seeing these characters from 27 years ago, in new costumes with new intentions and intensities.”
In a recent interview with Fandango, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige discussed James Marsden’s return as Cyclops in Avengers: Doomsday. Feige praised Marsden’s comic-accurate Cyclops costume in the film and described the way Cyclops’ powers are presented on screen as “a sight to behold.”
“Jimmy Marsden as Cyclops being in the comic-accurate costume. And the way [the Russo Brothers] direct the action with his powers is a sight to behold.”
