New official merchandise for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has revealed Spider-Man’s new secret weapon against Savage Hulk.
The merch reportedly teases Peter Parker using special “anti-gamma webs” during his battle with Hulk. According to reports, Spider-Man’s “anti-gamma webs” could be specifically designed to counter Hulk’s gamma-powered strength.
On X, user Spider-Man News shared a new Spider-Man: Brand New Day toy that features Spider-Man with three different modes. One of them is called “Anti-Gamma Mode,” shows a glowing green “anti-gamma webs” designed to battle gamma-powered enemies like Hulk.

The toy hints that Spider-Man could use anti-gamma webbing to contain Savage Hulk and reduce the effects of his gamma-enhanced rage.
In the trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Bruce Banner initially appears as a professor at Empire State University, helping Peter Parker study his unusual DNA mutations before transforming into Savage Hulk and clashing with Spider-Man.
Spider-Man’s Anti-Gamma Webs Could Be the Key to Stopping Hulk

There are several rumors about why Hulk turns into his savage form in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, including the possibility of him being manipulated by Sadie Sink’s character, Jean Grey, or by someone else.
It’s possible the webs were specifically created after Bruce Banner warned Peter about someone attempting to utilize Hulk’s gamma powers. It is also reported that Frank Castle may use gamma weapons against the mind-controlled Hulk.
Here’s the synopsis for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
