Peter Is Not Going Home
Rob Delaney‘s Peter, who was a member of the X-Force team recruited by Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool, is set to return in ‘Deadpool 3‘. According to Deadline, Delaney has closed a deal to return in the upcoming Deadpool film, which is directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay by Rhett Reese, Ryan Reynolds, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells.
In Deadpool 2, Delaney plays Peter, a member of the X-Force team recruited by Deadpool to help him fight against the villain Cable. Despite lacking any superpowers or skills, Peter impresses Deadpool with his positive attitude and determination to do the right thing. Although Peter is seemingly killed off in the film and in the post-credits scene, it shows that he has survived.
In addition to Delaney, the returning cast for the coming Deadpool film includes Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin, and Stefan Kapicic. Hugh Jackman (returning as Wolverine), Emma Corrin (a confirmed role), and Matthew Macfadyen (a confirmed role) are the film’s newcomers.
According to the source, following Disney’s takeover of Fox, which released the first two films, Deadpool 3 will be the first film in the franchise to feature Marvel President Kevin Feige. Produced by Reynolds, Feige, and Levy.
