Robert Pattinson has confirmed that he got a hint about The Batman: Part II plot, which Matt Reeves is currently writing. He says it’s very cool, and he’s excited for the production.
Speaking to EXTRA TV during the London premiere of Mickey 17, Pattinson was asked about the delay in the Batman sequel.

He said, “Matt [Reeves] is a very careful writer, but I finally now know what it’s about. It’s very cool, and I’m very excited.”
In an interview with Deadline, Pattinson said that The Batman: Part II will start filming at the end of the year. “It’s cool,” he added.

In an interview with SFX Magazine, Reeves said The Batman: Part II will be a new mystery that explores corruption even further. He added that the story builds on the first movie.
Reeves said, “It’s another mystery that’s going to dig into the epic story about deeper corruption & it goes into places that he couldn’t even anticipate in the first one. The seeds of where this goes are all in the first movie.”
A recent report from Jeff Sneider revealed that Dr. Victor Fries, a.k.a. Mr. Freeze, will be one of the villains in The Batman: Part II.
The Batman: Part II is a continuation of the Batman story created by Reeves. The film stars Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, and Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone.
The film is not part of the DC universe being developed by James Gunn and Peter Safran, though they are overseeing the project.
The Batman: Part II will hit theaters on October 1, 2027, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
