Warning: Spoilers ahead for Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
With the release of the second trailer and the start of ticket sales for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, a new report reveals a new love interest for Tom Holland‘s Peter Parker, who has not yet been revealed in the trailer or any first-look footage and will appear in Brand New Day.
After everyone forgets Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home, he starts over alone in a small NYC apartment, beginning a new life with no friends, family, or identity.

According to DanielRPK (a Marvel insider), Spider-Man: Brand New Day will reportedly feature a blonde woman who lives in the same apartment building as Peter Parker. She is said to develop romantic feelings for him.
The character has reportedly drawn comparisons to Ursula Ditkovich from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy.
There are rumors that the character could be Gwen Stacy, a classic blonde love interest from the comics, or an entirely new original character. Even though Peter has started a new chapter as Spider-Man, he is still closely watching Zendaya‘s MJ from a distance.

In a recent interview with Fandango, Tom Holland said he pushed for Spider-Man: Brand New Day to be a street-level story because it’s what fans wanted.
Holland said, “I combed through the internet… The fans really wanted this street-level Spider-Man movie that felt relatable, that didn’t necessarily feel like saving the world, but maybe saving himself, and I think we’ve done that.”
The insider also claims that Liza Colón-Zayas will reportedly play Jean DeWolff in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, while Keith David is reportedly voicing an Attenborough-type character who will never be seen on screen.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
Here are the plot details for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he has devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters in RealD 3D, D-BOX, Cinemark XD, 4DX, ScreenX, and Dolby Cinema on July 31, 2026. Ticket sales are now live.
