‘Stranger Things’ Season 5: New Behind-the-Scenes Shared By Netflix, Production Now at Halfway Mark

Netflix has shared a behind-the-scenes teaser for the final season of ‘Stranger Things,’ revealing that production is halfway completed. The footage shows the filming of scenes and features the original cast, including Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, Maya Hawke, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Noah Schnapp, and more.

On Twitter (X), Netflix shared the BTS and wrote, “To celebrate the halfway mark of filming Stranger Things 5 — and 8 years of Stranger Things! — we have a very special look at the making of the final season.” See the clip below.

Speaking on Podcrushed Episode 73, Hawke teased that ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 will have eight episodes and revealed that writing and filming each season takes a significant amount of time.

Hawke said, “It takes a long time to write each season and a long time to shoot them. We’re making basically eight movies.”

Ross Duffer, the co-creator of the show, has already confirmed that the final season will involve multiple time jumps. Therefore, it appears Vecna will seek his revenge across different timelines. Duffer said, “I’m sure we will do a time jump. Ideally, we’d have shot [Seasons 4 and 5] back to back, but there was just no feasible way to do that. Also, Matt Duffer confirms that ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 will be the final season, concluding the stories of Eleven, Dustin, Lucas, and Hopper.
