Arden Cho has been cast as June the shirshu-riding bounty hunter in the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series. The eight 1-hour-long episodes are set to premiere on Netflix.

June was a bounty hunter who traveled around the Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation. Of all the bounty hunters in the world, she was the best and most expensive of her time. She was a mercenary and had no allegiance to any nation, only to the highest bidder for her services.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is developed by Albert Kim. The series is set in an Asiatic, war-torn world where certain people can “bend” one of the four classical elements—water, earth, fire, or air. Aang, the “Avatar”, is the “bridge” between the mortal and spirit world, and the only one capable of bending all four of the elements. The Avatar maintains the balance of the world and nature to bring peace. As the Avatar, Aang faces the task to free the world from the Fire Nation’s ruthless war. With his new companions Katara and Sokka, Aang sets out to master the elements while pursued by the exiled Fire Nation prince Zuko, who seeks to regain his honor by capturing the Avatar.
Arden Cho is best known for Teen Wolf and her new starring role in Netflix’s Partner Track.
The series stars Gordon Cormier as Avatar Aang, Dallas Liu as Zuko, Kiawentiio Tarbell as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Iroh, Elizabeth Yu as Azula, and Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is set to premiere on Netflix and will consist of eight 1-hour-long episodes.
