The images were shared by Marvel and Sony Pictures visual artist Sebastian Meyer, who released visuals discarded from the production on his official website. See the images below.
So, Sony initially planned to feature Holland’s Spider-Man fighting against Rahim’s Ezekiel Sims. However, they decided to remove it from the film. It could have made a huge impact among the fans.
Directed by S. J. Clarkson from a screenplay by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama. The film is the sixth installment in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU). The film stars Dakota Johnson as Madame Web, Sydney Sweeney as Julia Cornwall, Celeste O’Connor, and Isabela Merced, Rahim as Ezekiel Sims, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Adam Scott, and Zosia Mamet.
According to the film’s plot: Meanwhile, in another universe… In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel’s most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures—if they can all survive a deadly present.
The worldwide box office earnings for ‘Madame Web’ have reached $99 million, positioning it as one of the lower-grossing films in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU). The film’s budget was $80 million.
