Ryan Reynolds has shared a new behind-the-scenes image of his MCU character Wade Wilson/Deadpool and says he knows why Thor (Chris Hemsworth) was crying in a scene from Marvel’s ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘.
On X (formerly Twitter), Reynolds shared a behind-the-scenes image with Thor and wrote, “I know why Thor was crying. I can’t unknow it.”
Why Thor is Crying in Deadpool & Wolverine?
In ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ there’s a scene where Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) shows the multiverse timeline to Reynolds’ Wade Wilson. In one timeline, Thor is crying while Deadpool is injured. Is that scene from Thor: The Dark World? I don’t think so, as we can see a cut on Thor’s eye, which happened in Thor: Ragnarok.
There is more chance that Thor and Deadpool could be friends in another universe. In Marvel Comics, Thor and Deadpool appeared together in Deadpool: Too Soon? (2016), Deadpool vs. Thanos (2015), Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth #10 (2010), and Deadpool: Secret Secret Wars (2015).
‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ was released in theaters on July 26, 2024—and has so far grossed $545.9 million worldwide. Our reviews confirm that Marvel is back with a new hit—scoring 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, 8.3/10 on IMDb, 56% on Metacritic, and received an A CinemaScore from audiences.
Directed by Shawn Levy, the film stars Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Rob Delaney as Peter, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, and new additions Emma Corrin, Tyler Mane as Sabretooth, and Macfadyen. Synopsis:
Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date—”Deadpool & Wolverine.” A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctantlier… reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to— F***. Synopses are so fuck*** stupid.
