Alden Ehrenreich‘s role in Marvel Television‘s Ironheart has been confirmed.
According to Alex Perez’s November 2024 Q&A on Discord (via The Cosmic Circus), Ehrenreich will portray Ezekiel “Zeke” Stane, the son of Obadiah Stane (played by Jeff Bridges in the MCU), in the Ironheart series. His role in the series has been described as a one-and-done appearance.
Who is Ezekiel Stane in Marvel?
In Marvel Comics, Ezekiel “Zeke” Stane is the son of Obadiah Stane—a major villain in Iron Man lore (Obadiah was the Iron Monger in the MCU). Zeke is a brilliant inventor and genius-level technologist—much like Tony Stark—but his ambitions and methods are far more ruthless and destructive. Zeke grew up resenting Tony Stark, blaming him for his father’s death, and developed an obsession with surpassing Stark—in both intellect and technology.
