Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday is currently undergoing reshoots and is expected to continue through April, May, and June.
According to insider reports, multiple massive final battle sequences are currently being filmed for Doomsday. There are rumored to be more than 80 actors involved, though some reports push the number up to 110, including lead actors, supporting cast, and stunt doubles. The reshoots are expected to take around three months to complete.

Reports also claim Marvel is secretly filming scenes for both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars at the same time. The directors are said to be split into multiple teams, filming simultaneously with different groups of actors.
Avengers: Doomsday might end with the deaths of all the heroes, though later scenes after the credits could tease survivors.
Marvel is rumored to be experimenting with alternate scenes for Avengers: Doomsday, so viewers might notice different footage during different theatrical runs. The goal is reportedly to boost repeat theater visits. The movie’s runtime is said to be around 3 hours and 15 minutes, possibly extending to 3 hours and 30 minutes with added scenes and credits.
The recent Avengers: Doomsday teasers may reportedly have been part of an early marketing experiment. Marvel is expected to kick off a larger campaign in August following the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with press screenings rumored for October.
In a recent interview with Collider, Rebecca Romijn opened up about filming with over 35 actors at once for Avengers: Doomsday.
Romijn said, “That was a very surreal day. I’ll never forget it. There were two days back to back where we were all just kind of looking at each other going, ‘This is crazy.’”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
