Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday is having a decent runtime in the final cut, as the studio locked the runtime before ticket sales began. Doomsday will be the second-longest film in the Avengers franchise.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney is reportedly planning to put Avengers: Doomsday premium-format tickets on sale next week. The domestic ticket sales for select premium screenings will begin on July 20. The early ticket sales will be exclusive to Infinity Vision theaters, Disney’s new premium large-format brand.
Following yesterday’s Avengers: Doomsday ticket announcement, the film has trended on Google, with search interest doubling compared to the recent Dune: Part Three trailer.
Infinity Vision was introduced after Warner Bros. secured IMAX screens for Dune: Part Three for three weeks following both films’ December 18 release. By launching Infinity Vision, Disney aims to secure more premium-format screens for Avengers: Doomsday.
Avengers: Doomsday Runtime Confirmed at 2 Hours 45 Minutes

Avengers: Doomsday is currently listed with a runtime of 165 minutes (2 hours and 45 minutes), making it the second-longest film in the Avengers franchise, behind only Avengers: Endgame (3 hours and 1 minute). It will surpass Avengers: Infinity War (2 hours and 29 minutes), The Avengers (2 hours and 23 minutes), and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2 hours and 21 minutes).
Disney will also re-release Avengers: Endgame in theaters on September 25 under the title Avengers: Endgame Encore. The re-release will feature Infinity Vision premium-format screenings. Endgame remains the second-highest-grossing film of all time, earning over $2.8 billion worldwide, behind only Avatar.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
The reported cast of Avengers: Doomsday includes Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Lewis Pullman as Sentry. The film also features the return of the X-Men, including Ian McKellen as Magneto, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, and Channing Tatum as Gambit. Joining them are the Fantastic Four: Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (The Thing).
Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters across the United States on December 18, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for release on December 17, 2027.
