Warning: This article contains spoilers for Marvel’s VisionQuest.
Marvel Television’s VisionQuest Episode 7 ends with a big, surprising cliffhanger as Vision accepts his grief and falls into a trap set by The Client (who bears the face of James Spader‘s human Ultron avatar). The finale, premiering on November 10, will feature more exciting developments that may surprise viewers.
New rumored leaked details reveal major spoilers, but these are only rumors and may or may not happen in the finale.
The finale, titled “Forever,” brings Ultron, Jocasta, Vision, and the missing pieces of the Maximoff family story together. These nine developments reveal how VisionQuest connects to the next Avengers saga.
Ultron never actually killed FRIDAY. He expelled her from Jocasta because he realized she was in danger. FRIDAY will eventually find her way back to Vision and help him escape. Ultron will never regain his physical body. Instead, he will help Vision defeat Jocasta and the real villain. By the end, Ultron will willingly agree to be housed inside Vision again.

The mysterious human sharing Ultron’s face belongs to the Horton family. His family has spent generations working on synthetic life, and he believes Vision and Jocasta are ultimately their property. Jocasta was only an experiment designed to transfer human consciousness into a synthetic body. His ultimate goal is to achieve the same thing for himself, potentially using Vision’s incredibly advanced body.
Unlike FRIDAY, JARVIS, and EDITH, Ultron wasn’t created from this man’s consciousness. His creation, much like Vision’s, was unique. As revealed in Avengers: Age of Ultron, both Ultron and Vision have distinct origins. Their shared appearance is an indirect connection to their source code manifesting in a human form. Even Ultron himself wasn’t aware of this connection. He chose that particular avatar because it simply felt right. Part of the story involves both Ultron and Vision discovering the truth about their origins.
The two will have a conversation and discover several similarities between themselves. However, Ultron will ultimately refuse to work with him. Jocasta, meanwhile, will side with the mysterious man and attempt to convince Ultron to join them.

In the end, Ultron will turn against Jocasta and help Vision, FRIDAY, and EDITH save the day. His story will come full circle when he reunites with Vision inside his mindscape.
The finale ends with the revelation that Billy is still alive. Vision and Tommy will then set out to find him, bringing the Maximoff family storyline back into the MCU. The three will play a major role in the upcoming Avengers movies, with Wanda eventually revealed to be alive and working alongside Doctor Doom. But when the time comes, Wanda will betray Doom to protect her family.
Doom will rewrite people’s memories in Avengers: Secret Wars, but Vision, Ultron, FRIDAY, and EDITH will be able to reverse it. Their synthetic nature and unique code will make them resistant to Doom rewriting their memories completely. Think of Ned still retaining the muscle memory of his handshake with Peter despite forgetting him.
The series is directed by Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, Vincenzo Natali, Terry Matalas, and written by Terry Matalas, Cindy Appel, Christopher Monfette, Nicole Falsetti, and Matthew Okumura.
