What is Sony really cooking in the final Venom movie? In the first trailer of Venom: The Last Dance, you can see that the symbiote left in the MCU during the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home appears in The Last Dance trailer, even though this movie is set only in Venom’s universe.
‘Venom: The Last Dance’ Plot is More Complicated
In the Venom: The Last Dance trailer, Chiwetel Ejiofor‘s character (who is playing an undisclosed role, but definitely Baron Mordo) is seen reclaiming the symbiote left in the MCU’s Earth-616. This raises questions about whether Eddie Brock/Venom has returned to his own universe. Surely, the surprises will be revealed after the film’s release.
The trailer gave us a glimpse of a young Peter Parker, around 10 years old, along with Aunt May. This confirms Venom had some connection with Peter, who appears to be Spider-Man in the future. How is Peter Parker in the plot of Venom: The Last Dance? Check out.
According to the film’s official plot synopsis, “In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.”
Kelly Marcel, who directed the first film will return to direct from a screenplay she co-wrote with Hardy. It is a sequel to Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film stars Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Juno Temple, Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.
The film is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Hutch Parker, Marcel, and Hardy. The film is part of Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man cinematic universe, which is separate from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which focuses on characters such as Spider-Man.
‘Venom: The Last Dance’ hits theaters on October 25, 2024, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
