Netflix has released a teaser for ‘The Umbrella Academy‘ Season 4, confirming it as the final season. This season will consist of 6 episodes, making it the first season with fewer episodes, and it is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in 2024.
On Twitter (X), Netflix wrote, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRELLIES, the final season of The Umbrella Academy is coming in 2024.“
Filming for ‘The Umbrella Academy’ season 4 started on February 6, 2023, and concluded on May 19, 2023, with Jeremy Webb returning as the director. The first episode is titled “The Unbearable Tragedy of Getting What You Want,” and the final episode is titled “End of the Beginning.”
‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 4 stars Elliot Page as Viktor Hargreeves, Tom Hopper as Luther Hargreeves, David Castañeda as Diego Hargreeves, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison Hargreeves, Robert Sheehan as Klaus Hargreeves, Aidan Gallagher as Number Five, Justin H. Min as Ben Hargreeves, Ritu Arya as Lila Pitts, Colm Feore as Reginald Hargreeves, and special appearances by Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally as Drs. Gene and Jean Thibedeau, along with David Cross as Sy Grossman.
Steve Blackman, the showrunner and executive producer of ‘The Umbrella Academy,’ revealed during Tudum that Season 4 will explore one of the major mysteries from Gerard Way’s graphic novels without giving away any spoilers, hinting that fans may uncover it themselves. Blackman said, “I don’t want to say what it is, but the fans will probably figure it out.”
‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 4 will premiere on Netflix in 2024.
