Marvel Studios reportedly plans to reveal Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man casting in Avengers: Doomsday soon. As we know, Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers casting update was officially revealed last year shortly before production wrapped, following months of rumors. Now, the next big reveal is reportedly Maguire’s Spider-Man.
According to Sammys Collectable Toys Hall, the first wave of Marvel Legends figures for Avengers: Doomsday will reportedly include:
- Doctor Doom
- Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire version)
- Thor
- Captain America
So now, Tobey Maguire’s role in Avengers: Doomsday is rumored to be revealed by Hasbro as part of the first wave of Avengers: Doomsday Marvel Legends figures at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2026. A short teaser is also expected.
We previously reported that Maguire’s codename on the set of Avengers: Doomsday was reportedly “Venom.” He was reportedly seen wearing a CGI suit while filming Doomsday, along with a short beard similar to Ultimate Spider-Man.
According to rumors, during the opening scene of Avengers: Doomsday, Maguire’s Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine universes are about to crash into each other during the incursions. Both characters will reportedly have a major fight.
According to The Cosmic Circus, there are reportedly 8–9 unconfirmed actors who have filmed scenes for Avengers: Doomsday that have yet to be announced.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
