The 97th Academy Awards took place on March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, hosted by Conan O’Brien.

Sean Baker’s Anora was the biggest winner of the night, winning five awards, including Best Editing, Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay. The Brutalist won three awards, while Wicked, Dune: Part Two, and Emilia Pérez each won two. I’m Still Here, Conclave, A Real Pain, The Substance, and No Other Land each won one award.
