‘The One Piece‘ remake anime series is confirmed and will premiere on Netflix, with WIT STUDIO handling the production.
Netflix shared on Twitter the first look announcement, stating, “An all-new anime adaptation of the One Piece manga starting from the iconic East Blue saga is coming to Netflix! Titled ‘The One Piece,’ the anime series will be produced by the renowned WIT Studio, recognized for their work on hit anime such as ‘SPY x FAMILY‘ and ‘Attack on Titan.'” See the post below.
The series, produced by WIT Studio known for hits like “SPY x FAMILY” and “Attack on Titan,” will be a collaboration with Shueisha, Fuji Television Network, and Toei Animation Co.
‘One Piece,’ a live-action series based on Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga, is a co-production between Netflix and Tomorrow Studios, with Netflix overseeing physical production. The show is written and executive produced by Steven Maeda, with Matt Owens also serving as a writer and executive producer. Additionally, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios, along with Eiichiro Oda, the manga’s author, are executive producers.
Recently, ‘One Piece’ has been renewed for Season 2 on Netflix. Season 1 is the No. 1 show in 86 countries, breaking its previous record of 84 countries. The cast of ‘One Piece’ includes Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Morgan Davies as Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino as Alvida, Aidan Scott as Helmeppo, Jeff Ward as Buggy, McKinley Belcher III as Arlong, Vincent Regan as Monkey D. Garp, Peter Gadiot as Shanks, Langley Kirkwood as Morgan, Celeste Loots as Kaya, Alexander Maniatis as Klahadore, Bianca Oosthuizen as Sham, Chanté Grainger as Banchina, Craig Fairbrass as Chef Zeff, and Milton Schorr as Don Krieg.
The release date for ‘The One Piece’ anime series has not been announced yet.
