The first look at Jumanji 4 has been released by Sony Pictures, which hinted at a big spoiler from the movie.
On X, Sony Pictures shared the first-look image of Jumanji 4, featuring Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Dwayne Johnson, and Jack Black, as filming begins in Los Angeles. Check it out below.
In the images, Johnson’s Dr. Xander Bravestone, Black’s Professor Sheldon, Hart’s Franklin, and Gillan’s Ruby Roundhouse are standing in front of a city background, while the post caption reads, “Look who’s on the loose.” It is confirmed that the video game characters are coming to the real world.
The film is directed by Jake Kasdan, who co-wrote the script with Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. It serves as a sequel to Jumanji: The Next Level (2019) and is set to be the fifth and final installment in the Jumanji film series.
Jumanji 4 picks up after the ending of Jumanji: The Next Level (2019), which hinted that the game was beginning to break into the real world. In the previous film’s post-credits scene, a repairman accidentally triggers the game, causing Spencer (Alex Wolff) and his friends to witness a herd of ostriches suddenly appear in their world.
