(Warning: Spoilers Ahead for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday)
Thor Week has arrived. The second trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday has leaked online, featuring Chris Hemsworth as Thor and his daughter returning as Love, Gorr’s daughter.
In Doomsday, Thor returns with his Infinity War look, and the trailer shows him praying to his father for his daughter Love. The prayer scene with Stormbreaker is said to take place right before or during the final battle.

Here’s the description of the Thor trailer:
“Father, all my life I have answered the calls of honor, duty, and battle. But fate offered me something I had never hoped for, a child, a life preserved from the storm.
Grant me the strength of all fathers, so that I can fight once more, defeat a new enemy, and return to her. Not as a warrior, but as a protector. They do not know war, but worry. The kind I have never known.
I beg you, Father, hear my prayer.”
Why is the battle in Doomsday so big? Thor’s prayer may result in him receiving Odin’s power, known as the Thorforce or Odinforce. With this power, he has total control over lightning without Mjolnir, the ability to manipulate cosmic energy and seal rifts in the multiverse, resistance to dark sorcery, and divine authority as the All-Father. There is also a chance that Doom drains the Odinforce directly from Thor.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
Here’s the plot synopsis for Avengers: Doomsday:
“Doctor Doom has officially arrived on the Marvel Cinematic Universe stage. This villain, a master of cutting-edge science and powerful magic, will unleash a cascading crisis across the multiverse. Marvel’s most iconic actor, Robert Downey Jr., also returns as Doctor Doom!”
